Honey Levi

This picture called Honey Levi because he is very sweet (?) and the background is beehive. For some reason every time I draw Levi he would be half naked. Lol. But I do like him topless with loose belts and harness. That makes him very sexy!

Checking Teeth

I've been drawing Owari no Seraph fanart recently. This animation has great characters, interesting storyline, and some dark element inside (which I like!^^). I especially like the two leading characters Mica and Yuu. They are from the same family but forced to be separated in two different world -human and vampire- which are constantly in war. How are they going to be family again and return to a peaceful life? Well, we have to watch the animation to find out.XD

The idea of this new picture is that when Yuu realised Mica has become a vampire, would he be curious and want to have a look of vampire teeth?XD Saying "Let me see it." and opens his mouth. Just like normal family will do.^^ Anyway, hope you like this picture. If you feel interested in this animation I'll be happy, too.^_^

Three days London MCM Expo finally finished last Sunday. I had a great time although I was exhausted after three days.XD Here is a quick update of this event.

Thank you very much amazing people who visited or supported my art. Especially for those who bought my Kuroshitsuji doujinshi books. You are my stars!

Here I want to share some original chibi drawings with you. I drew them in the spare time during the sell, and I got one sold! I quite like them myself. Hope you like them, too.^__^

Hyper Japan was great!

Here is a quick update of Hyper Japan. It's a fabulous event with lots of interesting stuffs, food and shows. Including music band, martial art, vocaloid show, etc. It was lots of fun! (Although I didn't have time to watch those shows, I could HEAR them. Lol.) I will share some photos with you when TH Yu uploads them.

Thank you all the people who came to visit me and supported my artworks. You are amazing! I choose two of my favourite commissions on Saturday and Sunday to share with you. Hope you like them.

Hyper Japan - July convention!

I've been sketching a lot but don't know if I'll complete any of them yet.

The top left is a fanart of Tatami Galaxy. It's not new but is an incredible animation and definitely in my best list. The story line is perfect and I once thought it's the best animation that year. It's ED is very cool. Check it out!

The next animation I'm expecting is Knights of Sidonia II. I'll probably draw it first.XD

Supermarkedonians - Marx

This is Marx, the gentleman of my Supermarkedonians characters. I personally like him the most amount my four.:) I want Marx look classic but also fashionable in the design. From the past until now, he keeps learning, walking forward and not looking back. This is why I like him the most.:)

I'm offering Cat Ears Manga Portrait in MCM Expo London

I'm going to offer Cat Ears Manga Portrait in upcoming event - MCM Expo London.

As manga portrait is more and more popular in recent events, and I've done regular manga portrait for more than a year, I decided to offer something different. However, to be honest, I'm not very good at drawing cat ears characters. So I've done some practice here.

Below are several models who commissioned me in last MCM and Camcon last year. I drew their cat-ears portraits for practicing. This is how I'll do it and you can get an idea how your portrait would look like. Hope you'll be interested in the new style.^__^

Icy Flame Pre-order

My lastest doujinshi Icy Flame is finally has its happy end. I'm very happy that I completed it and did not give up in the half way.^^ It's a huge work! Wow!=w=

About Icy Flame Pre-Order, because MN fans are not a very big group now, so I won't make many copies. I'll open Icy Flame Pre-Order from now until 20 Jan 2013, and only print the same amount of the orders. I may print a little more in case there are late comers.^^

Angouleme Comics Festival 2012

Tim and I went to Angouleme Comics Festival on 26 Jan to see Taiwan Expo. We booked the accommodation too late and only could live in a nearby city - Bordeaux. So it became a trip visiting both Bordeaux and Angouleme.:)

我和熊主要是去看安古蘭漫畫節，不過因為飯店訂的太晚，所以只能住到附近的波爾多，於是此行就一次拜訪兩個地方囉！^^


Expo Taiwan:

My friend Tpcat was one of the artists invited to this festival. We haven't seen each other for ages! It was really good that I could see her and say my wishes to her face to face. Her new fluffy chubby animal characters are extremely adorable! If you like fluffy cuties you must check out her website and get some books.:) - tpcat.net

There are 21 venues with different themes and they spreaded the whole town! Tim and I only stayed two days and it was far not enough! (Plus we spent most of time in Expo Taiwan.) I personally think even four days are not enough at all. But well, next year I'll go again and challenge myself exploring everything over there.:)

安古蘭漫畫節場地遍及整個小鎮，一共有21個場館，每個場館都可以逛很久。感覺四天的時間好像還是不夠好好逛完全部的場館。今年因為主場是台灣漫畫的關係，幾乎兩天的時間都花在台灣館裡。下次一定要拚了，好好逛完全部的場！

Idle talk

"Ai no Kusabi" is a Japanese yaoi novel written by Rieko Yoshihara. There was OVA released in 1994. And now a new version is on progress. The first episode was just released. It is very beautiful and well made. I like the script a lot! Can't wait for the next one.:)

Also recently, I'm slowly consuming Tiger and Bunny and Loveless, too. (I found out that Loveless is a bit hard to understand in the beginning.^^") Plus my unfinished doujin work. What a busy year 2012! =w=

New page of Icy Flame

After those busy days attending the cons in October and November, I finally have time to continue Icy Flame. I did two pages, one is with colour.:)

I drew some roses on this picture. I love the red of roses. It presents passion, a romance, a true love. Roses are not easy to draw for me, and I spent lots of time on them. But it's worthy it. I'm quite happy with the final image.:)

Now the story is going to chapter 3. Follow the story in my deviantART. :)

I've done 12 pages, which is just the prologue.

but also successfully show the lust.

Icy Flame

This is the cover of my new doujin, and this page is what I've got so far. 

Different from the previous story, I want it more serious and mature,

full of emotions and very thick love.

Here are my colouring steps. I used a lot of plain colour, some airbrush and some other simple skills to finish this picture. It is easy to learn and will be a good sample for beginners.

1. Scan the original pencil sketch.

2. Put on plain skin colour and basic shadow.

3. Use airbrush gradually put on more shadow on the forehead, cheeks and neck.
    Draw light blue as the base layer of hair.

4. Use airbrush to add shadow also lighten the fringe and front lock.
    (Burn tool and Dodge tool is very helpful in darken and lighten pixels too.)

5. Put gradient red colour as clothes and add some shadow.

6. Emphasise the features.
    Slowly and carefully draw the necklace.
    Copy the necklace layer and turn it into light orange colour.
    Then multiply the layer as the shadow.

7. Draw dark blue inside the clothes and add some white dots to create a dreamy atmosphere.

8. The final picture.
